ThemeWare® 1.1.7
With ThemeWare® 1.1.7 we have released our first major feature update in 2023.
This extensive release contains many improvements, new configurations, minor bug fixes and lots of new features as well as new CMS blocks for the "Pro Edition".
ThemeWare® Cloud: The changes from ThemeWare® 1.1.5 and 1.1.6 are also available in the Cloud Edition now. (see Changelog)
First of all: The integration of icons in the storefront has been refactored
The integration of icons in the storefront has been refactored, simplified and extended. This concerns the icons in the header (action buttons) and in the newsletter widget (send button).
This improvement opens up new possibilities that we have planned for future updates.
Note: Check the icon configuration in the Tab "Layout" => Block "Typography" in case of any changes to the icon representation. Depending on the icon set, icons may be rendered slightly smaller.
Highlights
New mobile header layout
In the new "Sales Promoting Navigation" layout of the mobile header, the navigation has been moved to the bottom of the screen, making the action buttons easily accessible with the thumb on smartphones. This considerably improves usability in the mobile viewport. The layout can be selected in the theme configuration (Tab "Header" => Block "Mobile header").

Custom tab for product pages added #FeatureRequest
With new ThemeWare® custom fields, an individual tab can now be added to product pages. The text can be filled in using an HTML-capable custom field. The title of the tab can be changed either globally (for all product pages) via a snippet or product-specifically via a custom field in the corresponding product.
The tab itself is only displayed if it has been activated in the theme configuration (Tab "Product pages") and a text has been stored in the corresponding product.

Google Fonts
With ThemeWare® 1.1.7, all the fonts used by ThemeWare® are now installed locally in each theme. More information on this can be found in the ThemeWare® Manual.
CMS blocks for product pages added [Pro Edition]
There are four new CMS blocks for the Pro Edition. Three new blocks are for product pages: a product heading without manufacturer logo, a gallery/buybox with product heading and a gallery/buybox with product heading and manufacturer logo. This way you can customise product pages even better to your liking.

The new link type configuration from Shopware has been applied to the ThemeWare® CMS elements.

Configuration
Configuration "Font size" added for header dropdown menues #FeatureRequest
Currently, the header dropdowns do not differ from the filter dropdowns. We are working on a separate configuration in the coming updates. In the first step, there is a configuration for the font size of the header dropdowns (e.g. the service menu). (see Tab "Header" => Block "Layout")
New designs for the cookie permission added
In addition to the "banner designs", there are four new "modal designs" for the cookie permission. In the new designs, the cookie permission is represented as a modal with an fullscreen backdrop. Various positions are available for the modal itself. The configuration of the cookie permission (see Tab "Content") has been extended accordingly.

The announcement banner now has a close button if you wish. This allows the visitor to hide the banner (for a period of 24 hours). This feature uses a timestamp in the "local storage" and requires an agreement in the cookie consent. (see Tab "Extensions")

It can happen that the buybox becomes considerably longer than the gallery due to the many additional sales-promoting features of ThemeWare®. You now have the option of making the buybox/gallery "sticky" so that the shorter element is longer visible while scrolling and does not disappear completely from the screen. (see Tab "Produktseiten"=> Block "Layout")
